From 3 March 2011, The Smart Water Fund is inviting applications to share in up to $1 million in new funding for innovative Water projects as part of its Open Innovation Stream.
Applications are open to businesses, research institutions and individuals across Australia, and the funding will support projects that investigate new technologies and approaches to Water management, and demonstrate a benefit to Victoria's Water industry.
Generally, the Smart Water Fund will consider applications in the range of $100,000 - 500,000 and projects should deliver knowledge, products or solutions that:
- contribute to sustainable urban Water management, and
- are valuable to the Victorian Water utilities and the customers they serve.
